Thomas Wofford Didlake, 87, died September 17, 2005 at Mississippi State Veterans Home in Kosciusko. Services were held at the Welch Funeral Home in Starkville on Wednesday, September 21st with burial in Oddfellows Cemetery in Starkville.

Mr. Didlake was a member of First Presbyterian Church, member of the American Legion Post #40 & 8, an army veteran in WWII, in the 612th Tank Destroyer Battalion, a Master Sergeant in the Army and received the Bronze Star.

Survivors include: daughter Julia Blakeney and husband Jim of Rochester, N.Y.; three sisters, Mildred Ann Reeves and husband Jim of Littleton, CO., Ruth Currie and husband John of Big Springs, TX., Jean Evans and husband Lewis of Cordele, GA.; two grandsons, Mark and Adam Blakeney both of Rochester, N.Y.; and one granddaughter, Megan Blakeney of Rochester, N.Y.

Memorial donations may be made to Palmer Home for Children in Columbus.
