Since joining Ford in 1972 I have:

Designed electronic circuits and module designs.
Performed systems engineering, structured system analysis and system design.
Managed software development projects and system/software validation.
Created self directed work teams.
Engineering budget development, engineering project management, project finance preparation and technical program management.
I managed design and development of vehicle instrumentation products. This work resulted in four Henry Ford Technological Award nominations.
My experience includes management of several successful design launch programs. All programs were delivered on time and within budget. These programs included Ford Motor Company's first electronic vehicle odometer, Ford's first on vehicle Data Communications Link and the Ecostar’s (Ford’s first commercial electric vehicle) Vehicle System Controller. I have participated on two full time project teams involving outside suppliers requiring significant team building and team work skills. One team developed Ford Motor Company's first Vehicle Electrical/Electronic Architecture. The second team developed a revised electronic/electrical vehicle system with significant reliability, cost, weight and complexity improvements. My innovation and creativity is demonstrated by submission of fourteen (14) invention disclosures resulting in eight (8) patents.
