1983       Henry Ford Tech­nological Award nominee.  Nominated for Product Engineering, Computer Architecture and System Design of 1980 Mark VII and Lincoln Town Car Message Center System.

1984       Henry Ford Technological Award nominee.  Nominated along with Michael Burke for Product Engineering, Computer Architecture and System Design of 1984 Mark VII and Continental electronic instrument cluster which included Ford Motor Company’s first electronic vehicle odometer.

1985       Henry Ford Technological Award nominee.  Nominated along with Michael Burke and Mark Jarvis for Product Engineering, Method of Correcting Microcomputer Software Errors With Electrically Erasable and Programmable Read Only Memory

1989       Henry Ford Technological Award nominee.  Nominated along with Michael Burke for Product Engineering, Electronic Fail Safe Storage Method for Vehicle Mileage.

1994       Nominated for the ACD General Manager’s Excellence Award.  The UTA / AMP / ACD / EFHD Supplier Team was recognized for achieving success in the Supplier Team Initiative.  The team’s design proposal significantly improved all vehicle electronic/distribution system metrics.  Reliability was improved 60%.  Cost was reduced 25%.  Weight was reduced 20%.  Complexity was reduced 45%.

1995       Nominated for the Customer Driven Quality Award.  The United Technologies / AMP / ACD /  EFHD Supplier Team was recognized for the work done to significantly improve vehicle electronic/distribution system reliability.

2000       Nominated for the Automotive News’ PACE Technology Award recognizing Visteon’s Super Integrated Cockpit instrument panel concept.
